About ChangeTT
A free, independent initiative for Trinidad & Tobago.
ChangeTT is a free behaviour change initiative built for Trinidad & Tobago. Created locally, for local needs — an independent public-good project with one goal: to make simple, steady support for healthier habits accessible to more people.
Many families in Trinidad & Tobago are facing challenges related to food, weight, gambling, stress, and other habits that affect long-term health and wellbeing. These challenges affect not only individuals, but the wider healthcare system and public services.
We believe small, consistent changes — made over time — can make a meaningful difference.
Understanding Patterns Over Time
ChangeTT is built around a simple idea: lasting change rarely happens in a single conversation.
Through ongoing check-ins and conversations over time, the system builds an understanding of habits, routines, and patterns that may not be obvious day to day.
The goal is not simply to provide advice. The goal is to help people better understand themselves and make more informed decisions over time.
ChangeTT is not a medical service and does not replace professional healthcare. If you have health concerns, please speak with your doctor.
What We're Focused On
ChangeTT currently focuses on two areas where long-term habits can have a significant impact on health and wellbeing: nutrition and gambling behaviour.
While very different on the surface, both involve patterns, routines, decision-making, and behaviours that often develop gradually over time.
FoodTT and GambleTT are exploring whether ongoing support can help people recognise those patterns earlier and make healthier decisions before problems become severe.
Your Pace, Your Choices
ChangeTT is built around a simple belief: lasting change happens when people choose it for themselves.
We do not impose plans or strict rules. There are no deadlines, no lectures, and no pressure to perform. We respect individual autonomy and understand that progress looks different for every person.
Your conversations are private. You are not required to use your real name and can choose how much personal information you provide. We do not sell personal information or share conversations with advertisers or unrelated third parties.
ChangeTT is an independent initiative. It is not currently affiliated with or operated by the Government of Trinidad & Tobago.
Why We Built This
When people improve their daily habits — even slightly — the effects go beyond the individual. Healthier lifestyles can reduce long-term strain on public healthcare systems, lower treatment costs, and improve quality of life across communities.
Most systems focus on responding after problems become severe. ChangeTT is exploring whether earlier awareness, ongoing support, and better understanding can help prevent problems before they reach that stage.
This project uses technology to make consistent, ongoing support available to more people at once. The goal is not to replace professionals, but to explore whether earlier, more accessible support can reduce long-term harm.
If enough people make small improvements, the impact becomes national. ChangeTT is one small step toward that goal.
