Delete Your Account & Data

ChangeTT gives you full control over your data. This page explains how to delete your account and everything associated with it — no login required to read these instructions.

The fastest way is directly in the ChangeTT mobile app:

1. Open the app and go to the Settings tab.
2. Under Privacy, tap Delete account.
3. Confirm when prompted. This permanently removes your account and data.

If you can no longer access the app, email us and we will process the deletion for you:

support@changett.org

To help us find the right account, include any identifier you used (for example, the email address on your account). We will confirm once the deletion is complete.

Deleting your account performs a permanent, non-recoverable removal of your account record and the data linked to it, including:

• Your account and profile details
• Your conversations and messages
• Your behavioural insights, memories, and check-in history

This action cannot be undone. If you reinstall the app afterwards, a new, separate account is created — your previous account cannot be reclaimed.

Prefer to keep using ChangeTT without your personal details? You can instead ask us to anonymise your account, which removes your name, email, and other identifiers while retaining de-identified data that helps improve the service. Mention this in your email if that is what you want.

When you delete your account, your data is removed from our active systems immediately. For disaster recovery, encrypted backups are kept on a rolling basis for up to 7 days, after which the deleted data is permanently purged from those backups as they age out.

If you choose the anonymise option instead of full deletion, your name, email, and other identifiers are removed and only de-identified data is kept — this is retained to help improve the service and is not linked to your personal identity.
