Privacy and Trust
Last reviewed: May 2026
Many people avoid seeking support because they worry about being judged, identified, or embarrassed.
This is especially true when it comes to gambling, alcohol use, eating habits, weight, and other personal challenges.
ChangeTT is built around a simple idea:
People are more likely to be honest when they feel safe.
How ChangeTT Works Today
ChangeTT currently allows people to participate without providing their real name.
We do not sell personal information.
We do not share conversations with advertisers or third parties.
Users choose how much personal information they wish to provide.
Why Anonymous Participation Matters
Many people never seek help until problems have become severe.
We believe one reason is that traditional support can feel intimidating, formal, or uncomfortable.
By reducing barriers to participation and allowing people to engage privately, ChangeTT is exploring whether more people will seek support earlier and speak more openly about their experiences.
The goal is not simply to collect information.
The goal is to create an environment where honest conversations can happen.
Looking Ahead
The current version of ChangeTT is designed around privacy and anonymous participation.
As the platform evolves, privacy controls and data-handling policies may be adapted to meet the requirements of future partner organisations, programs, or jurisdictions.
Any future implementations would be designed with transparency and user trust as core principles.
